Innovation Challenge: Importance of working locally in the community!
Our company was founded in Colorado with the principles of ensuring a cleaner environment by reducing congestion and pollution in Rocky Mountain Ski Communities, and by actively working to sustain that cleaner environment by taking measurable steps leading to that outcome.
Working locally in a community can have many impacts, depending on how a company focuses its efforts. In order to make a meaningful impact in the local community, one must engage with local leaders and provide suggestions and ideas to make the community a better place to live. Furthermore, one must give back to the community in terms of volunteer work and by supporting local charities. Finally, a thoughtful leading company in the local community identifies opportunities to educate on additional efforts to improve the local community, through community events, charity events, Chamber events, and other venues that are geared towards dialogue and education. We are proud to engage in all these efforts and encourage others to follow suit.
