What started a year ago as a bold idea to ease traffic congestion and support local Colorado ski area communities has now turned into the fastest-growing locally-focused parking app in CO for finding available spaces in unused driveways, office parks, condo complexes, schools, hotels, and close-in ski lodges. Sign up on the app here.

Spotsurfer was founded on the principle that a company needs to demonstrate Community Social Responsibility — one that begins with all its efforts focused on supporting local communities including working toward a cleaner environment by reducing congestion and pollution in mountain ski areas,  towns, and communities. The opening of the Eagle County office

The communities in the Vail Valley are working together to create long-term solutions to the ever-increasing parking problems. To make a difference, we know we have to experience the problems firsthand so that we can create solutions firsthand. Our new digs are in the Riverwalk at Edwards.

The Vail Valley Partnership

As we moved to expand our relationships in Eagle County we joined The Vail Valley Partnership to collaborate with local businesses, government officials, and municipal leaders to strengthen our ties and help support the local communities. Learn more about VVP here.

Birds of Prey Event

Despite the strong winds and blustery weather, we had a great time at the Birds of Prey ski race in Beaver Creek. We’d like to thank the Vail Valley Foundation as hosts, as well as the Colorado Ski Chair Company and Bradley Paris for supplying the cool bench and corn hole game we gave away.

Big Waves was one of the recipients at the 1st Annual Heritage Cares Charity Golf Tournament we sponsored at the Colorado National Golf Club, home of the Men’s and Women’s CU Buff golf teams. 
Ski Area Summit / COO Breakfast

New Parking Spots Added

We are rapidly adding new parking spots for day skiers that are closer to the lifts, less expensive than the big lots, and help skiers save time by reserving parking in advance. Download the Spotsurfer app to continue to get updates on new spaces to park, in more ski areas across Colorado. 2024 will see parking spots open in Utah and California.

If you are worried about liability, or legal challenges such as unauthorized parking, we’ve got you covered. Working closely with local law enforcement, we offer approved signage that protects residences, office and condo complexes, lots, garages, hotels, and close-in lodges.
